MG TD TF 1500 - Bob Grunau - Distributor List

Bob, I tried to retrieve a list of distributors for our cars you posted back in 2011, but it no longer will pop up. Do you still have this list? If so can you post it again? As I remember it was quite helpful in identifying T series distributors. PJ
PJ Jennings

Is this the list?

Think this is what you're looking for:

Looks like Mr. Microsoft changed some of the advance data in Bob Grunau's distributor information on the TABC site that Gene posted.

For example an advance of "11-13" degrees was changed to reflect a date ... "Nov 13". Advance of "5-7" degrees was changed to "5. Jul"

Thanks Tim, just what I was looking for. PJ

Gene, your link isn't working on my end. PJ

PJ, you are welcome.

Lonnie, wish I could change the date of my birth to degrees of advance :-)

PJ, remove the "s". For some reason this forum inserts the "s" in links when it is not called for.

Thanks Gene, everything is working and I got the whole report. Thank you. PJ

Funny about the date change. The info was posted as received so it must have happened on Bob's computer, or possibly Walter's. I've gone in and corrected it. I'm also assuming "5 Jul" should read 5-7. Bob, correct me if I'm wrong.
Steve Simmons

Wow, all these years that info has been up and while editing the web code just now I spotted a syntax error which as it turns out, was preventing an entire section of information from appearing. It's like I just uncovered a lost treasure! Must have been from when Walter originally uploaded that info what, a couple decades ago?
Steve Simmons

All,

Below is a copy/paste from the archives of my comment dated April 2011

April 2011 at 18:20:16 UK time

I have read this excellent paper some time ago. While rereading it today I remembered an amusing quirk in the table. In some boxes the spreadsheet has replaced the advance curves by dates,
for example "Nov 13" should be "11 13"
If anybody knows the writer maybe you could inform him.

I'm sure it had been that way since it was uploaded, probably in the late 90's.

It's all corrected now, including the previously unseen 1 1/2 sections of info at the bottom.
Steve Simmons

Steve,

When I look at the data on the site it doesn't appear that anything has been changed...the dates still appear instead of corrections.

Gene,
Clean your web browser cache. It's likely that you are still seeing the earlier version.
Lew Palmer

Or try hitting refresh while on that page. Agreed, your browser cached the page and is giving you the old version.
Steve Simmons

Is paragraph F the last paragraph?
P G Gilvarry

Yes sir, F is the last section. It was half of E and all of F that have been missing since day one.
Steve Simmons

Got it Steve, thanks!
