MG TD TF 1500 - Broken gearbox mount

Hi!

I dismantled the gearbox mount today on my 1952 MG TD.

I found the mount for the rear fork broken.

I have the pieces on hand, but not sure how to proceed. Changing out the case (assuming I could find a case) seems drastic.

I'm in need of some guidance here.

Check in archives, there are plenty of different methods of recovering the mount.

A thread like this kind of reminds me that this would be the very thing MG would do for a field repair too.

I remember talking to Henry Stone back in 1980 and he stated the factory race team would always do stuff like this.
