MG TD TF 1500 - bucket seats for TD

There was a thread sometime in the last year or so about bucket seats from other brands that could be adapted for use in the TD. I can't find the thread, so if anyone has any recommendations for either finding the thread, or seats that may fit, I would certainly be appreciative. I have my standard seat moved back as far as it will go and I still do not have enough room!

I sourced a pair of Triumph TR2 seats and had them upholstered in leather for my TC. No more slipping and sliding after 25 years of such!
The pictured seats are a friend's but mine are identical save for colour.

I fitted Cobra bucket seats in my TF whilst the original seats are being recovered.

The TR2 seats look like just what is needed for the TD. If the seat backs really are as thin as they appear in the picture, then the maximum amount of fore and aft room possible should be provided by those seats.
