MG TD TF 1500 - Button Snaps, Size?

What size snaps should I use,(in MM), on the back of the hood/top? I would rather use snaps than nails or screws. I didn't realize there were a few different sizes.

Make sure you get those tools too. I faked it with the punch but you really need the dished holder.

So what size did you end up going with?

Not sure, I think their number 8s. Stainless button and snap used for boat tarps. Male has 5/8 screw shank.
