MG TD TF 1500 - Can you remove the crank handle?
Crank handle is supposed to be cad over brass per Chris Coopers web. I can plate the handle on the crank, but it is a bit easier if I can do the handle seperatly. Can you remove the handle or is it permanently attached? |

I had this discussion with my plater for something I wanted done. Simply mask the brass handle so it is water tight. If it does not get in contact with the solution in the tank, it doesn't get plated. Frank TF1414 |

I think it was rolled over by a special machine. I suspect you will do more damage trying to pry that lip up uniformly and then the same on return. |

Is it cad or nickel? |

I think it is nickel. |

I was able to nickel plate the handle without any problem.

Very nice. Now I am jealous as mine is brass. :-( |

Bring it over. It takes about 20 minutes. |
