MG TD TF 1500 - Car Show - Local

Went to a show Saturday with over 200 cars on display, all American but two, my MG and a German BMW. Judging was by concurs qualified independent judges, paid by the club to judge the cars. Cars were put in age groups and judged per group. The TF was put in the 1947 to 1956 group. Totally set back, when the winners were called, I was given this. Sometimes it pays to just drop in! PJ

For some reason under florescent lighting and camera setting, the engine paint turns Orange looking, it's actually much closer to the original Red color. PJ

I kinda like the orange color. It IS British after all. They had some strange stuff going on back then.

To my knowledge, the only points knocked off were for the body colors, had it been MG Red (C)??
