MG TD TF 1500 - Centre dash instrument panel

I have a friend who is restoring a TC from scratch and is already well advanced. Recently he has discovered he does not have the correct metal dash panel.
I will attach a photo because it would be interesting to know what car this dash panel comes from. It does not look like it has ever been modified.
Among other things that are different there are no holes for the plug sockets.
Does anyone have any idea what model car this comes from?

Ian, I just sold one that was for a TC that had been put in my very early TD.

Ian, that dash panel most certainly is not from a TC or a TD. I suspect it is from one of the kit cars.

Might have come from a YT MG...

Thanks everyone, I now think it is from a YT. I wonder why there are no plug sockets.

It appears to have a turn signal switch opening where you would find the plugs. I've seen the switch in that location on TC's
