MG TD TF 1500 - Cracked block repaired

It is done. Some of you may remember my story. I had 1 machine shop do the line boring but he missed the scroll area which jammed up the crankshaft. Then we discovered the water jacket was was all spider cracked. Well all is remedied. Frank Casey in MA stitched and patched like a miracle man. Pressure tested to 40lbs. It looks great. I have saved my engine and I am very happy about that. After Frank, I shot across CT to KIWI Engineering. He straightened out the crank problem.
I will paint the block before I start assembly, so that is next.
Here is a picture of the repaired area. Look close and you can see all the work he did.

Now that is a lot of drilling and tapping! Looks great!

That is the way it is done finding people to do this is getting scarce, I had a few blocks done like this.

Yes it is impressive, and it looks great. I will attempt to access your face book page Len. But I'm not making any promises. By the way Len, your's is the name I have given my car. I have named it after my father, Lenny. He and I restored my very first car together. It was a 1962 MGA.
