MG TD TF 1500 - Dan Gurney T-Typer?

Hi Guys,
A couple of friends and I were chatting about some Dan Gurney trivia. Spraying Champagne and full faced helmets etc. There was some talk that he might have raced a T-Type in his younger days. Does anyone know if he did? I could not find evidence on Wikipedia. (One has to dig deep to find that Phil Hill and Jack Brabham raced T-Types.)

Thanks Lew,
That is exactly what I am looking for. I will try to chase up details from that. I wonder if that list includes drivers who didn't start in MGs but still drove or raced one at some time. Jack Brabham (triple F1 World Champion) definitely drove a TC but is not on the list.

Denny Hulme,the New Zealand Formula 1 1967 World Champion,drove and owned a red TF1500. I think he raced in Formula 1 for the Brabham team.

Also not on the list is Pat Moss, Stirling Moss' sister. She rallied a TF1500 provided to her by the factory, if I recall correctly.

I'm just passing but saw this and know nothing of the subject but on a Sporting Bears tour some years ago I was a passenger in Archie Scott Brown's TD 1500 which he raced as I was told at the time by its present owner, also a Bear and on the Bears tour.
