MG TD TF 1500 - engine tag center rivet

My engine tag has come loose. Does anyone know if these rivets that hold them to the block are available somewhere? Thanks Sandy

Sandy, B&G has them, their called a drive rivet. Under TD/TF engine external parts, engine ID plate. The code is BGS1072A. £.66 each. PJ

Sandy - I seem to remember that I got mine from Abingdon Spares. Give them a try.

Have you tried giving it a gentle tap - these are a spiral rivet, they have little clamping force just see if it will pull down a little ?.

It's easy to tap them out from the inside if you take your time & let it spiral out.

Abingdon Spares should have them. I had to buy a package of 50. Held a few back and gave the rest to Bobbie at the old A/S. They should have them in stock. Bud
