MG TD TF 1500 - Excellent opportunity for someone?

Are TDs really selling for that much over there? You could buy three of them here for that price! Not saying the car isn't nice, just surprised by the difference in the market. |

Nobody knows what anything is selling for now and after Covid 19, but UK selling prices for almost any car, except the exotics sought by the super rich, have been higher here in the USA for years. Dave H |

Higher yes. Especially British cars always go for more there. It's the $30K USD price that surprised me, for an unrestored TD. Or maybe the asking price isn't reasonable? If the difference is that high now then we will probably see truckloads of TDs leaving the USA. Interesting for sure. |

Yes, truckloads have already left, but we don't need any more. Many are for sale and not shifting, and won't until sellers lower their asking prices. Dave H |

Well good luck on that one Left hand drive as well and a 1600cc engine, seems closer to a special! My recently advertized '54 TF 1250 original RHD at £22000 attracted no interest. For me this is a very optimistic asking price. |

Looks like an original TD engine so I suspect the 1600 is a typo. I do like the horn placement though. I am surprised they did not state something like "one owner California car". That always seems to drive the price up anywhere but California. :-) |
