MG TD TF 1500 - Fender attachment help.
1951 MG TD What type of fasteners (if any) go in the holes shown in the photo? The right fender (pictured) has two holes. The left fender has one hole (same as the rear one in the photo). There are corresponding holes in the tub but they don't line up. BTW these are not the original fenders. Thanks Tim TD12524 ![]() |

Slotted button head wood screws. One goes in to the upright by the firewall, the other goes in to the sill timber. Make sure the alignment is all set and the hood is good to go before you drill any holes... Be well, David |

Button head? I didn't remember that there were any button heads on the car. Round heads are more likely. Tom |

I think Tom is right, I used the wrong term. They are slotted wood screws. The head is not flat. Be well, David |
