MG TD TF 1500 - Floorboard washers FTFU

I wasn't aware of this, so I thought I'd post it even if it has been posted before.
Moss's floorboard kit contains washers which are severely different from the original cup washers. They have a significant "dish" to the center and do not have the two-part curve of the original washers.
From The Frame Up, (here in Arizona) on the other hand, seems to have found a source for very close matches - or they are making them themselves.
Anyway these washers are an excellent replacement for the original and seriously superior to the Moss offering.
Just a FYI for those thinking about this project.

The Moss washer is on the left, the original in the middle, and the new FTFU washer on the right. I painted the original washers due to their pitting and rusting, and then painted the Moss washers to match.
The FTFU washers are slightly higher than my originals, but look much closer to them than the Moss washers.

The FTFU part number is WAC0414. They may be a better match to the TC washers, because FTFU specializes in TCs.

I bought a floorboard hardware kit from Moss USA last year and the washers were as near a direct match as my originals as shown in the middle of your pic. They must have changed their supplier as I was very happy with my set.

Abingdon Spares floorboard washer #41 073 is exactly like FTFU washers. I bought from both suppliers. I did not buy "kits."

Paint the washers before installation. Plating, if any, is thin.

FYI - I don't believe that reproductions of original style pointed-end BSF floorboad screws are available. My TF had Phillips type heads. Don't know if earlier models had Phillips or slotted.

Fastener photo and reproduction part numbers for my LHD TF are below. (The quantity of 1" screws should be increased to 20)

The Moss kit screws are slotted and I did dress the tips of my screws on a grinding wheel and then replated them with a batch of other hardware

When I was doing my floorboards I did not know what the washers looked like. I got some help from the group and I was able to find, down the bottom of a bag or rust one original washer.
Looking at the condition I did not want to use pressed steel again.
I fabricated new "look alikes" out of 303 SS.
I think they will last forever.
I also use antisieze on all the screws.

My wife is a psychologist. She takes out her note pad and writes every time I start talking about some obscure detail that I discovered on my TF or my '54 Chevy pickup. I'm expecting a straight jacket any day. I gotta show her this thread and similar threads to prove that there are other weirdos like me!

Lol Lonnie, that would worry me. Normally I just get the "eyes glazing over with total boredom" response.
Jim B I remember seeing your washers and thinking, man are those great! Then I thought, cut on a lathe, that would take me about an hour per washer... so they are worth at least $60 each. I decided to stick with the ones I had...
