MG TD TF 1500 - gearbox chassis mount point
I am replacing the MGB engine with an original 1250 TF engine. The mounting plate for the gearbox on the chassis has been altered. I wondered if anyone could help me with the dimensions of the original chassis plate . I can't seem to find the dimensions anywhere and am stuck . Any help would be much appreciated |

Here's a pic of the mount, sorry I don't have the dimensions. Blow it up for a better look. PJ![]() |

"I am replacing the MGB engine with an original 1250 TF engine." Good for you. Are these dimensions available in the workshop manual for in the rear? I think there is a section on frame straightening. |

RD. I have a drawing of the gearbox mounting plate. I will search for it and send it to you. What is your email address and where are you in Alberta? George Raham |

George I have to replace a butchered gearbox mount x-member (TC gearbox fitted). Could I also possibly have a copy of the drawing, if you find it?. ianftf at gmail dot com Thanks in advance Ian |

Hi Ian , I sent the drawing to your email address. Would you please confirm that you got it. I am not very good at the procedure for sending attachments and want to be sure you got the drawing. George |
