MG TD TF 1500 - Holes bottom and backside toolbox TF

There are some holes in my toolbox I don't know the purpose from.
They seems to be original but not sure.

Is the one in the middle for a cable clip for the wiring harness under the dash?

What about the two on the left hand side?

Here are the holes in the backside. The four which are grouped on the right hand side are also there on the left hand side... a left over from the TD?

Same question comes up every few years. Apparently, it is one of the mysteries of life and nobody has a definitive answer (as far as I know).

The two on the left are probably for the wooden block which stops the jack from sliding about. I'm guessing the centre one is for a drain but don't know if the factory did it.

I have some holes in my tool box that hold a plate that supports the Smiths Heater. I have had two TD's and both had the same round Smiths heater nstalled when I got them.
