MG TD TF 1500 - Hummmmmm and new electric MG
Be nice if Chineezium could do something right.. Don't think I can afford one now though http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1109906_mg-e-motion-electric-sports-car-concept-revealed-could-be-production-bound |

Ah, but will it ever again be offered in the US? |
Lew Palmer |
Not a bad looking car. But without a dealer network, my comfort level for buying an all electric foreign car would be low. |

As someone said to me "What no oil leak. Takes all the fun out of an MGing." |
Stuart Duncan |
And they've put 'MG' in a circle, not an octagon! Can such things be? David |

I guess since they now own the trade mark, they can stick it on anything they wish, to me it's not an MG and never will be. I agree that it's a nice looking car, but another clone body style and saying that I would never consider owning one, if I was ever in the market for an electric car, it would be a Tesla. Only thing there is, I would have to sell the farm to buy it! LOL. PJ |

"We're catching whiffs of Mazda" Well they wont be catching whiffs of leaky SU carbies that's for sure. Matthew. |

They may own the trademark, but they don't own the history or heritage. A real MG has to be from Abingdon (or Oxford) for me. Dave H |

I'm with Dave there. Once it left Abingdon it all became a tad iffy. |

I'm trying to work out why you need such a large air intake grill for an electric car ... |
