MG TD TF 1500 - Install the SS Exhaust on the TF

Finally getting down to installing the Moss SS exhaust system on the TF, but I seem to remember someone saying there was some sort of order of assembly. Is there an order? I'm thinking: start with the manifold flange and work my way backward. Any tips and advice gladly appreciated.

Pretty straight forward ...front to back

But, don't tighten anything down until all of the parts are in alignment, including the front support bracket at the gearbox. Bud

The rear pipe is designed to be installed in one direction only, ensure that the engine is centered and the stabilizer bar tightened before you begin, check that the muffler is correctly located in relation to the hanger, don't have the threads on the muffler U clamps pointing to the ground and tighten the gearbox bracket last. Also, rotate the silencer till it is just clear of the metalwork. This will ensure that you have adequate ground clearance.
We have a lot of road humps (speed restrictors) and they can cause havoc underneath.

And thank you, Rob. I had quite a bit of help from this bulletin board. Special thanks to Paul Jennings for the tip about the chrome shop in Oklahoma that repaired a broken TF instrument panel trim ring and rechromed it. That was a tough problem.
