MG TD TF 1500 - Latest Payne TF List
Rick Taylor has provided an updated 'Payne's' TF list. It's causing me much grief in trying to convert the Excel data file (xlsx format) into an htm webpage. While I fight that battle I'm providing a direct link to the latest Excel file. Just go to the car_lists page at http://www.ttalk.info/car_lists.htm . You'll see a line in green asking you to click on PayneTFList0818. Doing so will (should) allow you to open the original Excel xlsx file. Bud |

Bud, tried this? - http://www.zamzar.com/convert/xls-to-html/ David |

David, the 'old' xls version is not a problem. It's the later xlsx version, where the spreadsheet is divided into pages, that is the problem. Thanks, Bud |

I am using Office365, I was able to open the xlsx file, enable editing and then elected to save it as an Excel 7-2003 file in xls format. Does that help? Peter |

Peter, can you now save that file as an htm (or html)file that contains all of the data? Bud |

FYI, Rick and I are working on this. Bud |

Bud, Looks like it saved OK, let me know if you need a copy. Thanks. Peter |

Peter, you have mail. Bud |

I just about have it. http://www.ttalk.info/car_lists.htm now has a link to open a web page showing the latest list, as well as the Excel version. There are still some bells and whistles to work out (header and footer stuff). Be sure to refresh your browser. Bud |
