MG TD TF 1500 - Leather for seat needed
I have found someone who has agreed to take the time needed to re-stitch the original seats on my TF. The only problem is a couple of the pleats are unrepairable. If I can get remnant leather, the guy said he can replace the torn pieces. Any idea where I can get left over red leather? |

Try www.wmmcollingburn.com best brand for t-model leather. Regards from Germany Klaus |

It is going to be difficult to match new to old. You might ask on this site if anyone has any old covers they have replaced. Good luck on your quest. Larry |

Just noticed there is a current post on TF seats. He said he had some red leather he had replaced. You might give him a shout. Thanks. Larry |

I have a whole hide of red leather that was bought by the previous owner of my PA and never used. If it is a reasonably close match, you are welcome to some of it. I doubt you can get an exact color from the attached photo, but maybe it will get you in the ballpark. It is not a bright red, but rather somewhat darker. I believe it came from Mike Collingburn in the 1980s. Contact me at lew (at) roundaboutmanor (dot) com ![]() |
