MG TD TF 1500 - meassurement starting crank clamps

I'd purchased the clamps fpr the starting crank.

Can anybody tell me where to fasten these parts at back of the seats please.

I'd purchased two (Abingdon Spares) and now I realize it must be 3 pieces.

The drawing is missing the third hole for the stud that holds to tonneau cover snap - I see only two holes for the three elastic straps that hold the tonneau.

Very nice drawing - very helpful.

A fellow TD owner here purchased the clamps & was dismayed at how they ate the paint off his superbly finished crank handle. It was suggested a strip of bicycle tube rubber glued inside the clamps may preserve the finish. Before I fit my new clamps I'll experiment. Not sure if the clamps were at fault or if this was inevitable.. Cheers
