MG TD TF 1500 - MG car numbers?

New computer and I lost all my favorites. Does any one have the link to the MG car numbers, that shows build/production dates for T series?
Thanks John

When did the model year change? I just searched my body number on my '51 TD. According to the tregister it was produced on December 19, 1950. Is it a '50 or '51?

MG did not really have Model years like you would see in cars today. Having said that a December car is certainly the following year.

Also note you cannot go by your registration either. Some cars sat on lots for many months or even a year or more before being sold. Its not unusual to see a 1954 MGTD for example.

Note on the attached card there is not mention of model year.

Thanks for that. I learn something about LBC's every day thanks to this site.

I agree with you Bob! Because of this site, we all do. Don't know what I would have done without it and all the great information given. PJ

I know that in Canada in the '50's the car year was determined from the date of first registration to the consumer. Hence I have a Sept. 1950 car registered as a "51. Not that way today. Does give some issues at times, but nothing serious.
