There I a TF 1500 listed on ebay, 151856426260

Given the description, what would be the price for a car in that condition?

I wouldnot pay over $7000. It was in pretty bad shape when it was parked. Just look at those instruments...

I feeling is that it is worth $10,000. The last XPEG long block I saw was almost $5,000 alone.

But at that price you will still have a crap shoot if everything is there. Someone else's dismantled restoration "project" is usually not a bargain at any price, since you did not box everything up or organize it.

He doesn't even give a pic of the engine, that I could find. It was last run 25 yrs ago - ouch. If he included those "for extra sale" parts, maybe $10k, but an awful lot of work and unknown $$ remains.

I agree with Tom. Looks like most of the resto is not done yet, anything as far as brakes/seals etc. would need freshening. Any bodywork with primer would have to be stripped as who knows what type of primer was used, as well as the fact it has not been mocked up to fit the panels. Would like to see close up picts of appropriate identifying parts of the block/head as ell. BTW, has anyone seen one of the new B&G XPEG blocks? George
