MG TD TF 1500 - MGT Repair Fuel Tank Drain Kit - New Item

In response to requests, I have put together a kit to install a drain valve in the base of the TC, TD and TF fuel tank (NOT Mark II), which makes the process of draining the fuel very easy. It consists of proper UK parts - a brass nipple to screw into the plug hole at the bottom of the tank, a chrome-plated ball-valve drain, a nipple for attaching a drain hose, and a brass cap to seal off the outlet when not in use.

This compact kit stays in the tank at all times, and makes the process of draining all the fuel VERY easy. Although I can't imagine why, it can be removed in minutes.

$70 including shipping in the US.
