This car also has the partially chromed steering shaft. Another interesting piece is the pedal shaft. It isn't drilled for greasing....hmmm |

Mine also had partially chromed steering column, pictures in archives or T-talk somewhere. Abingdon Spares used to have cork/fabric w/s seals, looks similar to the above pictures. |

I loved that cork/fabric/rubber windscreen gasket stuff. Not original but much better IMHO. It was also pretty mandatory when the US switched to metric thickness glass in the late 1960's/ early 70's and you had to have something thicker to fill in the gap. The FTFU sells full thickness glass today FWIW. That and Lew Palmers etching and you are back to original again. ![]() |
