MG TD TF 1500 - Moss did it again

Just received my latest Moss T-Series catalog in the mail today and another kit car is pictured on the front cover. You'd think the company would not be buffaloed so easily

Is this the cover you're talking about and if so, not sure I can identify this as a "replica". What gives it away?

Hold on there, Bucko. It's NOT a replica on the cover of MGT-147! It's a perfectly genuine TD.

I said the "LATEST" Moss catalog that just arrived. That would be mgt-148 So if the Bucko was aimed at me Tom... back at you lol

And I'm sorry...that was the only Moss catalog photo I could find that said it was the 2017 catalog.

The clamps holding the top of the hood down is one dead giveaway. Wipers mounted on the cowl is another.

Tom, hold on yourself Bucko...if that is aimed at me. I said I just received the "latest" catalog. It is mgt-148 Lower right hand corner. Sorry I can't load the image

The above red one ? I agree. Hood latches on sides and wipers at bottom of windscreen.
Also the tire stance is a bit wide.
And that is not a TF. The radiator is upright.
Sure does not look right for a TD.

My Bucko comment was aimed at anyone who thought T-147 was not an MG; I could find no more recent catalog than 147, even on the Moss web-page. No offense to anyone , just a "whoa."

The rest of the story: My catalog came today. There are 7 pictures on the cover of people participating in the Moss Motoring challenge. The couple with the kit car are obviously having a great time and I have no problem with that. If that picture had been the entire cover, that would have been different. Have to give Moss a pass on this one. George

I don't have MGT-148, but on the top of page 3 of MGT-147 there is a band containing "See Your Car on the Cover
