MG TD TF 1500 - Now I need a grub screw

Putting the last wire into the AMP Meter I dropped the grub screw and searched for hours trying to find it. If anyone has a grub screw or two for the AMP Meter I'll happily pay for it and shipping and your time.

On my TF they are 2BA studs and nuts. Could well be a similar size on a TD.

Check with "Deacon Screws" in the UK, they have grub screws and possibly in BA threads. I know they sell BA sizes, possibly in the grub screws as well. PJ

Hi Tim, I can confirm that the original grub screws are definitely NOT 2 BA. If they are BA threads they can only be 1 BA. I have two original LUCAS BM ammeters on my bench at present as well as heaps of 2 BA machine screws in varying lengths & there is no way the originals were 2 BA. The 2 BA's are too small in diameter. Cheers
