MG TD TF 1500 - once again - carb overflow pipes
I have seen pictures of the carbs with its overflow pipes at http://www.ttalk.info/td_pipes.htm It seems the pipes are open to air and both pipes end near the sump. Other pictures show a direct connection between the carbs. Are both solutions okay? |

Later MGBs had the carb overflows connected together with a tee in the pipe running to the charcoal emissions canister. T series had no such system and the overflows are routed down and forward to the front engine plate, where they terminate down around the seam between the block and sump. |

Maybe and looks fine - I'd heard in the forum a clamp is needed to avoid clattering an disturbing of the two pipes |

Moss has a list of over 800 clamps, I have not found this clamp among them. PJ |

I' d found this 372-610 - out of stock in GB. If it will fit for 2 pipes?![]() |

Bela That looks like a modified (with a small hammer) 'P' clip. These are readily available from many auto suppliers for post war cars. I get mine from Auto Electric Supplies (in the UK) but there must be equal suppliers in Germany |

Bela, with the number you posted, 372-610 Moss USA is showing they have them in stock. PJ |
