MG TD TF 1500 - Pedal question
We're the pedals originally attached as shown in the attached picture or are the right angled pieces an option for shorter drivers. Tim TD12524 ![]() |

One each pedal was used, but they are designed so that a second per pedal could be added easily. |

Those are extension pieces for shorter drivers. Standard pedal assembly is without them as illustrated in attached pic.

Thanks guys. Should have checked the manual. They are coming off. Glad I'll have a couple of inches of more leg room. Tim TD12524 |

Tim, It is usually the other way around. I make up even longer extensions. Regards Declan ![]() |

I'm 6'2" and need the peddle extenders with the seat all the way back (and the wheel is still too close). I find that the clutch has a ridiculously long throw. |

Declan, quality work just like the other items of yours I've seen here. MAndrus I'm 6'-1" (1.9 m) and I'd never driven a TD for any length of time before. I've driven mine around the block to check out the car befor painting but those were 2 minute drives. Based on your comment I'll probably leave the extenders on until I've can do an extended drive to see if they are needed or not. Although they would be a lot easier to remove now before I put the tub back on. Regards Tim TD12524 |

Those right angle pieces are standard on all cars. You can take them off if you want the additional room. I have seen custom ones that were 6" long. :-) |
