MG TD TF 1500 - Query re Horst Schach's Restoration Manual
I've been an MGA owner for the past 8 years but am seriously contemplating purchasing a TD. I'm keen to enhance the safety of the car for my passengers more than myself and so I'd feel it important to install some form of seat belts. The car I'm looking at doesn't have them. I know from reading the archives that this is a hot debate issue with a host of opinions. There are lots of references to installation instructions in the Horst Schach's comprehensive guide "The Complete M.G. TD Restoration Manual". Sadly this publication seems to be very hard to come by in the UK and I wondered whether anyone would be willing to share copies of the relevant pages by pdf? It would be great if these lovely cars can keep on the road for many years to come and sympathetic safety enhancements can only help this to happen. My fear is that otherwise interest in driving these cars on modern roads from my generation and later will continue to dwindle. Thanks in anticipation. Tim |
