MG TD TF 1500 - Question about Moss mirror head

Hi all,
Has anyone bought the Moss windshield mount mirror head item # 407-347? I'm wanting to get a pair of mirrors and want to know if this mirror head has convex glass.

I put these on mine as their easy to remove with the wing nut and can remain on with the windshield down, just rotate the mirrors back. PJ

I have a set on my TD, work great, but expensive. Mine has one std lens, and one convex. So yes they are available both ways.

Mine are flat. I believe you can order them either flat or convex

Thanks for the comments on the specific mirror head G Parker and Bill. What has me unsure is that the Moss catalog and web site don't indicate an option, nor the glass type in the event that there is no choice.

I don't believe there would would be any point in the dash mirror being anything other than flat.

There is only a narrow tunnel to view between the heads of the occupants, any wider view would be framed by 2 heads.

My .02c worth.

Have you checked "Holden Vintage and Classic" in UK. They have a variety of mirrors and mounting brackets/ bars.

Thanks Pete Gilvarry for your input, but it's the exterior windshield frame mirror that I'm asking about, not the dash mounted mirror.

Stuart, thanks for the lead to Holden. I've looked and they do have a selection of finishes for that item as well as the convex glass.
