| Kevin ... an excellent article on head technology. Many thanks.
The head on my TF was enhanced 55 years ago. I didn't do too much. Biggest single item was to match capacities in all chambers. Upped the C/R with a few light passes of the milling machine, to allow for the increase in octane between 1954 and 1965. Didn't remove the flame divider but I did "sharpen" the input port divider. I used to check the head for dimensions, and it always seem to be good. Despite many rebuilds (my TF has over 350,000 miles on it), the car still runs well. Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |
