I think Murphy owned my car once! Him and his gang of leprechauns, who always seem to be present! Taking my wrenches, hiding things. They took my glasses the other day off the work bench and put them on the counter in the kitchen where I couldn't find them. Got my dash in and all hooked up, found out one of those gremlins switched the wires on the amp meter! Not only that, one of them loosened the oil pressure gage line in the engine compartment and when I started the engine, it sprayed oil on the engine. I know I tightened that fitting tight! So you see, I live with Murphy and his little gang of thieves every day! I hope they leave when this car is done, but with Murphy as their overseer, I don't think don't think that's going to happen! My TF was down last season for 6 weeks. Fixed the transmission, water pump and she was perfect! Ready for this season. So to start this season the dizzy needs rebuilding and the new pulley on the water pump is wobbly again. Jeff needs a few weeks with the dizzy add shipping time and I'm down 5 weeks! I am Murphy and I am optimistic! Do I have a choice?

The thing I hate most about those sneaky leprechauns is how they steal my glasses but then manage to put them on top of my head, or in my shirt pocket, and I KNOW that wasn't where I left them.
I think Murphy was the lead designer on the TD team. And his watchword in those days was "If it can go wrong... let's INSTALL it!"
