MG TD TF 1500 - Search Function

Is the search function working? I've tried "brakes" and "bleeding" and get no results at all. Me? Or the site?

I went to "Archive" entered "brakes" "bleeding" and checked "all words" and got about 50 hits.

"Search" (above) doesn't work. Never has for me.
You must first go to Archives, then use the search function from there. It works fine.

In search the only way I can get results is if I put in a persons name or E mail address. It shows some of that persons posts.

I believe the search function on this page is only for the active threads.

Would be nice if it said that. This has been a source of confusion for a long time. The date range dropdown only goes back 14 days, so maybe that was the idea? I doubt it's ever used? But it also allow you to select "ALL DATES". Very confusing?
