MG TD TF 1500 - Seeking any history on my MG TD/c

Hello All,

I have an MG TD/c - the last registration was a New York state plate number 2328EA.

The previous owner was Jamie Francisco of Eden, N.Y.

Any tid-bits of information would be greatly appreciated.

Can you supply the chassis number and engine number? It would help greatly.

And have you come across Simon Clennell in Hong Kong?

A small point - it's TD/C, not TD/c. I've never seen any document from the factory with TD/c.

She is chassis number TD/C19349 EXL/NA and engine number XPAG/TD3/19732.

I have not come across Simon (having said that I only purchased this car in the last few months).

Was there a NY state inspection sticker on windshield, would tell you when it was last on the riosd.

Eden, NY is near me, a small town, large district.

Many thanks for the info. Unfortunately the UK MGCC T Register does not know of your TD, except for its entry in the factory records, and of course I'll amend the former!

Simon looks after the interests of the Mg Car Club in Hong Kong. He is known to the members of the Classic Car Club of Hong Kong. Try contacting Andrew Ng the membership secretary -

Hope all this helps and eggs and grandmothers are not involved. MGs are much rarer in HK than they used to be.

The numbers don't show up in the NEMGTR CDROM. Would not appear to have belonged to a member through December 2004. Bud
