MG TD TF 1500 - side curtain box felt pattern

Anybody know where I could find a pattern/sizes for the felt pieces used to line the side curtain compartment on a TD?

There is a drawing on the Moss site.

Its very approximate since the side curtain box is not square.

When I did mine I made the following sketch, shown in the next two posts.

Just wanted to comment that I used Jim's pattern when we installed our interior and side curtain felt; and it made the job much easier in my opinion. Thanks, Jim.

Checked his measurements with mine and they agreed fairly well. Also stole some heavy cloth from my wife's stash and cut it first just to make sure it would fit correctly.

I spent some time with bits of newspaper trying to figure out how to use the least number of pieces. In the end I just ensured that the joins were in internal corners and it worked out really well. I used exterior grade PVA brushed on neat to the walls of the box and diluted PVA to thoroughly rinse each piece before applying it. I found the felt can be compressed and stretched a little to ensure perfect coverage. The PVA appears milky but it does dry clear so no need to freak out. My multiple piece installation just looks like one piece. I also used rubber grommets to cover the two drain holes in the bottom of the box. They were designed to let water out but I'm much more concerned that they would do the opposite if ever I found myself caught in the rain. Cheers
