MG TD TF 1500 - Side curtain trim on a TF
My side curtains were re-clad by a PO and I think a couple of strips of similar length were put in the wrong place. Also some side curtains have had the strips removed and some are missing, which adds to the uncertainty. My measurements and best guesses are as follows: Main curtain top strip 520mm Main curtain bottom strip 622mm Main curtain front strip 256mm Main curtain rear strip 264 or 257mm? Rear curtain top strip (curved) 278mm Rear curtain bottom strip 403mm Rear curtain front strip 264 or 257mm? Rear curtain rear strip 229mm Any advice would be welcome. Michael |

Not sure how relevant or accurate this info is as I'm yet to deal with the side curtains. It comes from Moss. Thanks for your interest Peter. The Moss info sheet primarily focusses on the side curtain frames and unfortunately does not give lengths for the trim strips. It would be much appreciated if one of the TF guys could run a tape over their trim pieces. Any takers? Thanks in anticipation, Michael |

I'm a new member as of yesterday & have decided my first post will be a value-add (I'll follow-up later with my intro). My TF side curtains were close by for measurement & picture taking. These curtains came with the car (which my Father brought home in 1968). The trim is most likely original to the car. FRONT CURTAIN TRIM LENGTHS: ![]() |

Hi T.A. Sirp, Thank you very much. Your labelled photos are very impressive and perfect for clarifying the situation. My one curtain that still had trim attached did indeed have incorrect trim in two spots. I now also know I have some odd pieces; TD or TC probably. Welcome to the forum. I hope I can reciprocate some time. Cheers, Michael |

Well that's very useful. (I've got a Moss kit to make up sidecurtains over the winter.) Thanks for the info. |
