MG TD TF 1500 - Speedo to 4.1 Rear Converter
My speedometer is reading wrong and am thinking of getting a converter or sending it out for a rebuild so it reads correctly. Is there one for this 4.1 rear combination in a TF? Been using the GPS on my phone. PJ |

Thanks Declan, When I get it out for another run, I'll check the speedo against the GPS at 50 mph and note the difference. It will be a while as I'm presently detailing the car for an indoor 3 day show in Tulsa, Ok, which means I have to trailer it there to keep it clean. After that I can drive it weather permitting. Email me if you wish for further discussion. PJ pgc161tf55@gmail.com |

I can confirm that Declan's reduction gearbox works very well and is easy to fit. Mine is doing a great job. Thanks Declan. Dave H |

My speedo is away at Speedograph Richfield's for an overhaul and recalibration. The cost will be £45. It would have been more if the dial had needed repainting or the case replating. They are recommended by HiGear Jan T |

Jan. Yes I used them to do some work on my Tacho, the input was completely seized , and I could not release it. What they did I was very satisfied with. They do exactly what you ask and no more and no less. Any additional operations, like calibration, add cost. Dave H |
