MG TD TF 1500 - Tach drive zerk fitting
I am missing the zerk fitting out of my tach drive. Anyone know what thread it uses? |

Bruce, Sorry this is so late, but I dug my spare out and measured. The OD is .185 and 32TPI, so by my calculations that would make it a very unusual 3/16 BSF. I would have thought it would be BSP, but that doesn't figure. I would try ZerksPlus or Abingdon Spares to see if they might have something to fit. |

Thanks Peter. I will add that to the fastener list. |

PETER? Any why add to the fastener list? I don't think a zerk fitting could be considered a fastener. |

Bruce, I have a disassembled tach drive that had been held together by nuts and bolts. Apparently it froze once and the inner shaft spun and broke. I've kept it in a little box of 'who knows' pieces. The zerk fitting seems to be original and in good shape. Tomorrow is my 88th birthday and I've decided that it's time to start getting rid of the 'who knows' stuff. Would you like it? Still at 3463? Lew. Valid point. I may have to rename my list and things with threads. Bud. Yes, I would like the fitting. 3463 is still my address. |

On its way shortly, Bruce. Congrats on the award. You certainly deserve it. Bud |

You should see it Saturday, Bruce. Bud |
