MG TD TF 1500 - Tappet Chamber Gasket

I have slight leak from the side tappet cover. I think I have seen an upgrade mentioned (maybe for the rockers though?) Can anyone let me know where I can get one from in the UK.

Jan,
I make both the tappet cover and rocker cover in rubber and they are a good fit. The tappet cover is made thinner than the original cork for ease of fitting due to clearance with the distributor.

They cost 19.90 Euro + 5 Euro international postage (A3 envelope).

I got mine from Tom Lange in the States. Just fitted it the other day. No worries about clearance with the dizzy. What I do like about it, apart from the fact that everybody who has one has nothing but good things to say, is the colour. It blends in nicely with the engine. I also purchased the rocker cover gasket. Cheers

Of course you can always make one from a cork sheet. As Declan mentioned, the thickness can be quite thin (both places) and still work just fine.
