MG TD TF 1500 - TD and TF side curtins

Are they the same size? Can they fit each car.
Are the frames the same also?

There are two different sizes for the TD, 2 bow or 3 bow. I am not sure whether TD 3 bow will fit a TF.

Check the Moss Motors website. Somewhere on there is a document with diagrams and measurements of all of the different frames- two types for TDs, one for the TF. George

T Type side curtains come in four different sizes, TC, TD 2 bow, TD 3 bow and TF. They are not interchangeable. The Moss Motors piece from 2006 spells this out really clearly, complete with dimensioned photographs. The installation text however needs an extensive revamp. Shame that the promised rewrite never eventuated. Cheers

Regarding the Moss 2007 article - is that a mistake in the sketch on page 5 (TF)?
The length of "4A" shows 21-1/2" in the photo but the text says
22-5/16"(?)

RT there were a number of errors in the text which I discovered when looking to compare a pair of original TF and 2 bow TD front curtains, with the text in some cases not matching the dimensioned images. I did make some notes at the time but they are buried somewhere in my archive. My suggestion is if using the Moss document, to proceed with caution. I ignored the Moss info and made 3 pairs of TD 2 bow front curtain frames using the originals as a template. One for the guy who owned the originals, one for me and a spare. I have a 1.9 meg pic showing the TD/TF comparison, with one overlaid over the other, but I can't upload it, probably because the j peg is too large. I still have the pair of original TF front frames hanging in my workshop. Great reference for both dimensions and paint colour. Cheers
