MG TD TF 1500 - TD Light bulb list

Does anyone know of a list of light bulb sizes (i.e. the base designation) for the TD?

Tim, page N.18 of the WSM has such a list by Lucas No. You need to find an old lamp catalog to identify the lamp's configuration. Bud

Thank you Bud. Should have checked there first. Sylvania has a site that has every bulb and its designation for MGs but doesn't go back far enough for TDs and TFs. I was hoping for something like that.

1953 TD round tail lamps. Has anyone had success "turning back" the rubber ring in order to access the glass and ultimately the bulb? My lenses are hard as a rock and am thinking a hair dryer might soften the rubber???? Many thanks.

If it’s that bad the rubber will crack, so I think you will need to replace it.

Best way to rejuvenate rubber Sam is with glycerine. Just massage it in. Makes quite a difference. Cheers
