MG TD TF 1500 - TF Body Frame Angle

Anybody have a good left and right TF body frame that you can measure the angle at the tank board? Mine aren't equal.

What is a good way to adjust the angle if I need to change to help the quarter panel fit the tank board better?

Not sure I understand the question. But here goes. Could you use bolts washers and nuts, the chassis rails and packing pieces of different thicknesses to pull down and slightly distort the errant side of the frame at the two rear attachment points? Cheers

Things like this has been an issue since the first T series car came off the line, so much in fact that the WSM has diagrams in the back section on how to deal with distorted frames. My chassis had a twist in it and the tub wouldn't set right on it, using the WSM and taking the twist out solved the problem. Lonnie these frames bend and twist easily so make sure your chassis doesn't have a twist in it, if it does, it'll be a bitch getting the tub to set right without a lot of shimming. PJ

Need to know what other owner's angles are.

My left side and right side are different. Probably need to change the angle of the right side to make the quarter panel fit better and allow it to move forward.

Lonnie, TF2071 has 65 and 67 degrees but the woodwork was all replaced by the PO so I can’t guarantee originality.

Moss part nbr 450 740 angle is 76 1/4degrees. This is body frame for TD.
measured inside the angle iron.
Moss has different part nbr for TF.
