MG TD TF 1500 - TF dash lamps: Which way?

I've seen the 3 colored indicator lamps mounted on the TF instrument panel two ways: green on the left and red in the middle (and vise versa). And I've seen the 2 lamps wired 2 different ways in reference photographs. Moss Motors calls the blue lens the petrol warning lamp, but 2 schematics I've seen have it wired for ignition.

Here's a reference photo where the ignition is wired in the middle. (see also next email).

Here's another reference photo. Notice the ign. lamp is wired on the left indicator light.

I suspect the ignition lamp is the red lamp (which makes sense) and it's mounted in the middle (like the photo), and has 2 wires connected: yellow lamp wire and white wire on side bracket.
The blue lamp (mounted on the left) is the petrol warning lamp, wired with a green lamp wire and a green/black side bracket wire.

Am I correct?

thanks for all help.

It's worth having your indicator light on the passenger's side. I find my hand on the wheel obscures it, and with our indicator system you need to be able to keep an eye on the flasher.

If you look at the unrestored cars on the Original TF web site they all have the fuel warning light on the left, ignition in the middle and the turn indicator on the right. Regardless if RHD or LHD. I would have thought they might have reversed the two outside lamps but that isn't the case. And yes the wiring looks correct.

Don't forget the indicator lamp earths to the panel but the other two are isolated by a insulating washer.
WSM General Information page 24 tells you the lamp positions.

I fitted a buzzer across the indicator warning light and find it far more useful. No need to glance at the dash to check its working.

Thanks folks!
I switched the ignition wiring to the center and petrol light wiring to the left side.
