MG TD TF 1500 - TF Dash Sockets & Bulbs

My dash takes 6 bulbs, but two of the sockets are insulated from ground, fuel tank light (2 wire) and ignition light (two wire)and the center cluster takes a single wire tube type socket. Anyone know if the Moss set of 6 has these correct sockets? On mine, the center cluster light seems to have it's own socket type and the others won't fit. If no one knows I'll have to call Moss, or? Anyone? PJ

I remember most were the push in type Paul as seen here. Just like your map lights.

Although this one with the fiber back appears to be original, I believe when I replaced the wiring I used the same push in type as the others.

The Moss set will be correct. Don't mix them up or they won't work properly. It's pretty obvious how to connect them up from the wiring diagram.

Moss doesn't list the ones for the ignition, fuel warning and center cluster individually, the two wire sockets, only as a set. Actual reason for this inquiry. To get those, which is what I need, I'll have to buy the set. Abingdon's catalogue doesn't show them.
The wiring diagram shows one wire going to the center cluster light, not two, LaVerne's photo shows two, is the wiring diagram wrong? Is the second wire a ground? Prints doesn't show it. Thanks for the feed back! PJ

They are both power on the second photo Paul..daisy chained in and out to another output I'm sure.

Looks to be the same on this replacement dash harness but not clear enough I'm sure.

The only difference between the sockets is that those that are not connected to earth have an insulating paxolin disc and a metal tab to take a second connection. Easy to fabricate.

Dave, Thanks. I have a request out to Hugh Pite to see if he has one of the two wire sockets, which actually is all I need. If all else fails I'll build one. PJ

Paul,
I have some spare dash sockets. Email me.

Thanks Tom, Much appreciated, but Hugh Pite is sending me one for the fuel warning light, which is actually all I need now. Thanks for your offer! PJ
