What are the two holes on the rear of the slide channel for? Arrow. What goes there, if anything? PJ![]() |

An attempt to keep the car's weight to a minimum? SRA ;) |

I was thinking a rubber pad rather than steel to carpet. Would like to know. PJ |

A little off the subject but: Wouldn't is be great if someone could devise a way to install some ball bearings between the slide parts to make it easy to adjust the seat? |

Wouldn't is be great if someone could devise a way to install some ball bearings between the slide parts to make it easy to adjust the seat? There are bearing type seat slides out there that could be adapted, but they wouldn't be original style, would they. Once adjusted, I never re-adjust my seats anyway, all the way back. PJ |

Hi Paul I raised this issue in Feb this year. There are a number of good responses there Cheers Jan |

Jan, I just looked that thread up and it explains it, to a point, what their for. I think Matthew has a good point for competition driving, you would certainly want those seats very secure. I've seen some of Matthews driving photos and if anyone, his seats should be nailed down securely! LOL. PJ |

The beauty of a t series set up stock, is that those aggressive driving positions of Matthew's driving (some of my favorites) are capable at very comfortable driving speeds. Until I put my sway bar on, I used to hang the tail on left hand turns on a regular basis just because I could. It was a great party trick that no passenger expected. I have considered removing the bar to get that back, but probably won't due to the time involved. I sure do mis doing it. Alex |
