MG TD TF 1500 - TF tie bar brackets
Just saw a new ebay listing for TF tiebar brackets. I rarely see these for sale. I hunted for over a year to find my set. The price is low. I have added the number for one of them. The other is listed nearby. 262244376188 Tom '54 TF |

I have a spare one in a box somewhere on the shelf, I don't remember what side. PJ |

Thanks for the alert; I won them. I still need the bar if anyone has one for sale. In the meantime I'll simply make one. I can't find the exact slot type clevis ends but it'll be close or at least good enough for the purpose. |

When I bought my TF, the bar and brackets were missing. I purchased the brackets from ebay and the bar and clevis from Abingdon Spares - page 49 item 51. |

Just for reference. My TF was missing the tie bar. I made one from McMaster Carr parts. |

I too bought my tie bar and ends from Abingdon. Back a few years ago they had a local fellow make them up. Price much better than Moss. I wonder if the new owners continue to fabricate this item. tom '54 TF |

Thanks Peter, I scored the brackets and have been eyeballing McMaster for clevis ends. I've also found some nice slot ends that would be better. They're all male thread so I'll have to use tubing if I go that way. Jim |
