A bit of fun....if only it happened this quick 😊

The above link is a time lapse video I was persuaded to do of me DISMANTLING the TF as it heads off to the paint shop.

I reversed the video as it looks far better being built...hope you enjoy....as you can see I had plenty of interuptions.

I plan to disassemble my TF for painting this fall. Hope that my reassembly goes as fast as yours!! You're right - the video looks super as an ASSEMBLY video. Good job.

Funny you should say that Don....we have had the most amazing weather but just after I had the phone set up we had a thunderstorm and had to wait a couple of hours.

Your car looks fabulous great choice of colour combination. Nice to be on the home straight. Good luck.

Is the tub on your car new. If so do you know who made it. I have a new tub on a TD that is primed in the same color from the early 1980s.
All it has is stamped in several places MADE IN ENGLAND.

I was convinced the whole thing was fake because of the total lack of rain. I lived in Ireland for many years, so I know that's simply not possible.

I bought my tub from Hutson in the UK in the late 90s. I sent them the structural parts of my tub and they built me a new tub around them.

Tom Lange has posted a video link of the same company building a TD tub on a previous thread of mine about door gaps.

You must check ot out...it could be yours.

I have tried 3 times to copy it here but it hasn't worked not sure why.

The MD is a nice guy called Andy Rayner andrew.rayner@btconnect.com I have been in contact with him since to get bolts to fit the nuts contained in the tub.
