Peter, it seems to be related to a Norton anti-virus extension in Chrome. I just ignored the report and clicked on the "continue..." option. Eventually got to the website okay. Randy |

Peter, you must be holding your tongue the wrong way! Way down here in the deep south in Geelong mine opened without any delay! Kev S TF6288 |

No tongue related issues here Kev. This is an email I received earlier today from John James. He had his son Steve check it out and his reply is also attached. I removed the addresses for reasons of privacy and the Norton link simply because it wouldn’t upload otherwise.
Peter, Please see the e-mail below from my son, Steve. Cheers! JOHN It’s a false positive for the site, but probably needs a tweak for next time. When the email gets sent out, the links displayed in the email are provided by Campaign Monitor, our mailshot provider (domain cmail19.com) which then redirects to the types.org site. This formerly allowed us to track links such as the “world view” map that you might remember of people opening the emails worldwide. However, we turned off link tracking when GDPR came along. It looks as if Norton doesn’t trust this Campaign Monitor domain cmail19.com - see the report on Norton safe web: Probably because some nefarious mailshot user has used it in the past to send out spam or phishing. That’s why Peter is seeing the warning - it’s the intermediary link triggering it, not the ttypes.org website. He shouldn’t get the same warning if he goes directly to the site via this direct link: http://ttypes.org/ttt2 For next time I’ll try to turn off link tracking (as we don’t use it anyway) so that these intermediary links don’t appear - meaning these warnings should no longer appear either. Cheers. Steve And cheers from me Peter TD 5801 |

And this just arrived from John James. Good morning Peter, Thanks for your efforts – much appreciated! As son (Steve) says, he’ll try and sort out the intermediary link by the time the next issue appears. Best Regards, JOHN Cheers Peter TD 5801 |

It's bad enough understanding our cars let alone to be IT literate. Thankfully my Grandchildren are available in times of need!!!!! |

Norton AntiVirus causes more problems than it solves. if you are running Windows the Windows Defender is perfectly adequate. If you are extremely worried about viruses or intrusion get Malwarebytes. You can use this site to check if you have a weak firewall setup. https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 Click on proceed and on the next page click on All Service Ports. Tim |

I spent more time uninstalling Norton products than I did using them. I use the free version of AVAST, and a paid version of Malwarebytes. On my server I use the Windows Defender. I retired from IT, the best pice of software in my ar*enal, Norton Removal Tool. Peter |

Just a tip... beware Avast software... https://www.technologyreview.com/f/615096/this-is-how-a-popular-free-antivirus-program-sells-your-data/ |

If they want to see what I am browsing, go for it. Might run over to www.redtube.com to give them a thrill. |

Wow, Redtube.com is not what I thought it was. Yikes! Tim |
