MG TD TF 1500 - Toyota SC14 Supercharger

Although I have a TC I am posting here as there is more traffic.
My question is whether anyone has fitted a Toyota SC14 supercharger to their XPAG engine car. If so I would love to see photos of the installation please and any technical data that might be available.

Hi Peter, there are many MG Vic. club members that run SC 14's on their TC's. I built one up for my TC to run off the front of the crank, it runs reverse but seemed OK. I sold it to a club member whos name I can't remember, but I think a TC racer called David Ogg is the man to see.
BTW I worked it out as 8lb boost at 5000 rpm, 6lb at 4000.

Most TC owners here in Perth are running the Gil Taylor unit from Hoppers Crossing mated to a SC12 running about 6 lbs. Mike Sherrell here runs the Gil Taylor unit with an SC14 for many years. I know has had it pumping too much pressure but he has sorted that.
Seeing you are Melbourne I would talk to Gil Taylor he is expert in Toyota blowers in TC's

There is a Gumtree ad selling a complete SC14 kit for $4800 for XPAG motors. Includes SC14, pullies, belt, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, etc.

Last year I installed an Eaton 75 supercharger in my TD - great experience to drive. Infact I made two and have now one for sale. See image. I used it for a while before testing number two and it worked perfectly. Note that the horn doesn't have to be relocated, as is common with many conversion kits.
The pulley is adjustable to get the desired pressure.
Tried 0.75 bar but reduced it to 0.5 after blowing the gasket.

The complete set including manifold and carb can be yours for EUR 2 300.

Thank you all for your comments. I've just had a chat with David Ogg and intend meeting him in a few weeks. Yes Stuart, I saw the Gumtree ad but I already have the blower (pristine) so just looking at possible alternate installations. I'm not trying to penny pinch but I enjoy doing as much as I can myself - I have a lathe and comprehensive workshop.
Yngve, your set up looks great. Pity about the Aussie dollar!
