MG TD TF 1500 - UK Postage

Hopefully someone in the UK can help me.
I have my eye on some parts in the UK on ebay.
The problem is that with Covid-19 the seller is unable to post to Australia. What I was wanting is a UK address to be able to get it sent to and either wait for postage to be re-opened or find an alternative way to get the items to Australia.
Any ideas would be appreciated

There isn't an issue with Royal mail to Aust.
Maybe a couple of days slower than normal but I think the delay is at this end
My last package ,a week ago,8 vinyl records in a package,took longer to get from Melb than it took to come from UK but it was 7 days all up
You shouldn't have any issues in NSW though

I was assuming it was Covid related. The email I got from the seller stated "sorry but in the current Climate we are not posting outside the uk".
So still looking for an alternative route.

Hi Graeme,
I've been receiving parcels from Bath UK for last two months on a regular basis.
Time for delivery is getting quicker every time. Although I pay for air mail rather than regular postage.

Problem solved. A member from TTORC living in the UK will relay the parcel to me. Another example of the T Type community helping each other.

An ignition switch for my Stag recently took 9 weeks to get to Brisbane from the UK and that was supposedly sent airmail. A pair of shoes took 9 days!

Can anyone in Aus report on the current state of play from LBCco to Aus?
